Tradescantia Pallida 'Purpurea' (Purple Heart).
Plant Care Tips:
1. Light: Grow purple heart at bright place for best colour development; plants growing in shade tend more to green than purple.
2. Water: Water twice a week or when the top 1-2 inches of the soil are dry. Plants are drought tolerant and thrive on neglect, but also tolerate frequent watering.
3. Feed: Fertilize once a month.
Benefit: Excellent air-purifiers.
Toxicity: The juice from the leaves or stems may cause skin redness and irritation in some people and dogs.
